For Heaven it was a much-desired return to the ring. For Miranda Alexander, it was her chance at the upset of upsets. Hoping to catch Heaven unprepared after her five month suspension from the promotion, Alexander eagerly accepted a match with the champion with all thoughts on defeating her.
Miranda was being groomed by Tanako X as one of the future stars of the promotion, counted upon to one day replace Heaven as ACW’s top star. An annoyed Heaven was resolved to quickly put an end to those thoughts. After a traditional pre-match handshake, the match was ready to begin.
If Miranda found herself caught up in the excitement of the moment, she was quickly brought back to reality with a slap to her face by the champion. Heaven quickly moved to apply a guillotine chokehold, content to end the match quickly. Miranda attempted to grab Heaven’s legs and knock her off balance.
As the challenger struggled to catch her breath, she was stunned to feel the champion’s grip loosen. When she looked up she was shocked to see they reason why. Niki Foxe, Alexander’s best friend, decided to intervene in the match, not wanting her friend to get choked out. Jumping onto Heaven’s back, she applied a chokehold of her own.
Heaven, although taken off-guard, Heaven did not panic. Quickly flinging Foxe off of her back, she reestablished her chokehold on Alexander. Irritated, she taunted the challenger and her friend.
Dizzy from the lack of oxygen, Alexander slumped against Heaven. The champion immediately tossed her onto a couch next to Foxe. Directing most of her anger at Foxe, she chastised the pair for their poorly executed attack. A confused Miranda recoiled, stammering that she didn’t know what Niki had planned. Unfazed and unimpressed, Heaven went on the attack.
