One of the most controversial wrestlers ever in ACW, Niki Foxe stirred up trouble everywhere she went. As ACW recruited and built up a marketing campaign for Foxe’s friend Miranda Alexander, Foxe got in Miranda’s ear, convincing her to hold out for more money and directing her to no-show several events

Foxe brings her stubborn and aggressive mindset to her matches. While being outclassed by many opponents, she is hard-nosed and relentless in her matches. She has won many battles by simply wearing her opponent down or by frustrating them with her constant trash-talk. By her mouth alone, she has remained a mainstay in the catfight industry for years.

She is called by many the smartest woman in apartment wrestling. Others would challenge that she is simply the sneakiest and most cunning. Regardless, Foxe has met with success far beyond what her talent should have allowed.

Foxe remembered the day she wanted to become an apartment wrestler. She wanted the attention of her older brother Chet, whose face was buried in a copy of Sports Review Wrestling. He was reading the monthly segment dedicated to apartment wrestling. Nike borrowed the magazine later and was enthralled by the action depicted in the pictorial. “I made my mind up that day that I wanted to be an apartment wrestler more than anything in life.”

At 18 years of age, she answered an Internet ad seeking an woman to wrestle in a hotel room. She answered the ad and traveled to Miami, Florida but was surprised to find that her opponent would not being another woman but rather a man. Foxe bolted from the room and ran down to the lobby and called home for more for a return trip. While waiting, she ran into Miranda Alexander, an 18 year old model from Hawaii. Wen Alexander asked what Foxe did for a living, she proudly boasted that she was a professional apartment wrestler. Niki decided to stay for a few more days and she talked to Miranda about catfhgting and eventually began showing her new friend submission holds and maneuvers. As the two prepared to returned to their respective homes, Niki received a call from an agent in Chicago and the two were signed to contracts with a fledgling promotion called Nite Fights.

After training with Nite Fights for several months, Foxe approached Apartment Championship Wrestling and offered her services as well as Miranda’s. Both were signed to contracts and began training at the ACW Academy DoJo. Days later, however, ACW received a letter from Nite Fights threatening a lawsuit and claiming that Foxe and Alexander were already under contract. X was furious, as Foxe had sworn that both were free agents. ACW was later forced to buy the smaller promotion to avoid a lawsuit and the girls were allowed to stay in ACW. X did not forget Foxe’s duplicity and the girls were put through the wringer. Believing Foxe to be the instigator, he put in matches against the elite performers in the promotion. Niki lost matches to Diane Hunter, Daniella Cartier, Heaven and finally Taylor Wilson. Wilson took unadulterated pleasure in putting a beatdown on Foxe, breaking three of her ribs and dislocating her thumb.

Foxe was left to contemplate her career and while Miranda received favorable reviews from most competitors and management, Niki continued to find herself in conflict everywhere she went, Her duplicitous nature and and conniving personality rubbed almost everyone the wrong way but the promotion did not release, instead using her as training material against more skilled fighters. Foxe, nevertheless, refuses to quit and vows to prove everyone wrong. “I may not be as pretty or talented as a lot of these girls, but one way or another, I’ll figure out how to beat them, one at a time.”

UPDATE: November 3, 2008 – Niki Foxe was released from ACW after being suspended for the third time in six months after hitting Rosario Delgado with a chair in her final match. Foxe’s only statement was “Fuck ACW. Fuck all of them.”
